Lockers can be rent at the location. It is not possible to buy a locker in advance.
The ArenA is the biggest we have hosted an event so far, with a capacity for 40.000 ravers. Therefore it is necessary to work with different entrances to stimulate a fast and efficient entry.
One month before the event, it will be visible on your ticket through which entrance you can enter the venue. Please check this thoroughly to prevent long waiting queues and stimulate fast entry.
Don’t bring large bags!
It’s not allowed to take large bags into the venue. Handbags that fit within A4 size and are less than 10 cm thick are an exception to this rule. Please note, there is no cloakroom and there are no lockers available for big bags. We do recommend leaving your bags at home.
It is NOT possible to bring a bag larger than an A4 size into the Johan Cruijff ArenA. These are the rules of Johan Cruijff ArenA, which we must follow. For more information, you can check the website of Johan Cruijff ArenA.
This event is cashless!
This is a cashless venue. You can only pay with PIN at the event. If you did bring cash, you can exchange it for cash cards near the entrance. With these cash cards, you can then make a card payment at the bar to pay for your food and drinks.
Until what time can I enter the event?
The event will take place on the 20th of July from 22:00 till 07:00. The doors are open until 02:00. If you arrive later, we are permitted to refuse entry. Please be on time!
There are EARLY ACCESS tickets available for purchase in the ticketshop.
What are EARLY ACCESS tickets?
With early access tickets, you will be able to experience a special b2b opening set! The doors will open at 20:30 and the set will start at 21:00 (only for early access ravers).
With normal tickets doors will open at 22:00, the same time as the normal program starts.
Premium raver and premium on-stage raver tickets are already included with the EARLY ACCESS entry.
There will be a variety of food and drinks available at the event. We always aim to include vega(n), gluten free and dairy free options!
Can I bring lollipops and chewing gum to the event?
Chewing gum isn’t allowed at our indoor events, because it damages the venue. Please, respect the venue where the event is held! If you want to bring something that provides fresh breath, you may bring a sealed pack of breath mints to the event. Dextro is also allowed.
You are not allowed to bring food & beverages to the events of Verknipt. Which means lollipops are not allowed either. But, we will make sure that lollipops can be purchased at the events.
All Verknipt events are 18+. Make sure to bring your ID!
Verknipt maintains a zero tolerance policy on drugs. It is forbidden to use, trade or posses any drugs at the event. When the organization spots or confirms any infringements, the offender can be handed over to the police. When the delinquent is being caught he/she will be transferred over to the police. Before entering the event you will be able to deposit drugs in the designated drug bins without being charged with any consequences.
During the event, all lost & found items are collected at the merchandise stand. You can always check there if anything has been found!
All items that are not collected will be taken to our office in the week after the event. You can email us at [email protected] to check if your lost items are there. The items can then be collected from our office. Any loss of your items on an event is your own responsibility.
If we haven’t found your items, you can also check with the Johan Cruijff ArenA just to be sure!
There are no smoking area’s at this venue. This is a smoke free venue.

The location is reachable by taxi or uber. Follow the signs and directions from traffic controllers to the designated Kiss & Ride location.
If you are planning to travel to the event locations by bike, you can navigate your way to Johan Cruijff Boulevard 240, 1101 DJ Amsterdam. You can park your bicycle in the bike parking area of the ArenA Boulevard.
Touring cars & party busses have to register. The parking area is at: P-bus
When does the regular ticket-sale start?
Regular ticket-sale starts Thursday, October 26th at 14.00! Exactly one day after the pre-sale.
Where can I buy tickets?
You can purchase entrance tickets for the event here: https://www.verknipt.org/verknipt/tickets/. After buying your tickets, you will receive a confirmation email. Eventix is our official ticket platform. After buying your tickets, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventix with your order.
What are the differences between the entrance tickets?
We work in tiers. Ticket buyers that get their ticket early have more advantage regarding buying a ticket with a discount. The later you will buy your ticket, the more expensive it will be.

You can pay with iDeal, Bancontact, Sofort, CreditCard and PayPal through our official ticket channel Eventix.
The event is sold out, how can I get a ticket?
Unfortunately if the event is sold out, it is not possible to purchase tickets through Eventix our ticketing platform. You can visit www.ticketswap.nl to try and purchase safely secondary hand tickets with their secure swapping system.
Verknipt works with ticket tiers, meaning: the more time you take to buy your ticket, the more expensive the ticket becomes.
Loyal Raver tickets are €79*

What’s the difference between Regular tickets & Early Access?

All ticket prices mentioned above exclude the entertainment tax of €1.50 and the service costs for the ticketing provider.
The entertainment tax is a tax that has to paid to the City of Amsterdam since 2020 for every visitor of entertainment on water, on land (round trips) and city tours (with or without vehicle). This is mandatory for this particular event location.
What are ‘sealed tickets’ and why can’t I download the tickets?
Recently Verknipt switched to a new kind of tickets: sealed tickets. These tickets can only be viewed and downloaded shortly before the event. When it’s time to download your tickets, you will get a notification by email from the ticket provider. If you’ve purchased tickets for a group of people, you’ll be able to assign the tickets or send them to your friends once they are available for download.
Why does Verknipt have ‘sealed tickets’?
Verknipt uses these sealed tickets because the ticket sale will be fairer. By using these tickets, it makes it impossible for scammers to resell their tickets through unofficial third parties/secondary markets. Tickets can only be sold through our verified partner ‘TicketSwap’ by Secure Swap. Through Secure Swap they exchange the ticket for a brand new one, so the buyer has a 100% chance to get into the event with the ticket. Also, it is not possible for sellers to ask more than 120% of the price through TicketSwap, so the ticket will always be sold for a fair price.
Is it possible to resell my ‘sealed tickets’?
If you decide to sell your ticket, it is only possible to do so through our verified partner ‘TicketSwap‘. You need your confirmation email to view your order. At the bottom of your order you will find a blue button, click the button to resell the tickets on TicketSwap. Only this way you can resell your tickets. Can’t find your confirmation mail with your order?
Keep in mind that the maximum asking price for a resold ticket is 120% of the original ticket price and that selling your ticket(s) to a new visitor always happens through Secure Swap. After selling, you can no longer use the ticket as it will be declared invalid.

The event has been cancelled, what happens now?
If the event can’t take place due to Covid-19, you can request a refund.
Further instructions will be given through email, please wait patiently for this.
When will I receive my refund?
The process of refunding your ticket will be approximately 5 business days after confirmation.
