The ArenA is the biggest we have hosted an event so far, with a capacity for 40.000 ravers. Therefore it is necessary to work with different entrances to stimulate a fast and efficient entry.Ā Ā
One month before the event, it will be visible on your ticket through which entrance you can enter the venue.Ā Please check this thoroughly to prevent long waiting queues and stimulate fast entry.
Donāt bring large bags!
Bags larger than A4-size are strictly prohibited. Only small bags, single-compartment (dimension of 30x21x10cm) are permitted during the event.
If your bag or luggage exceeds the size of an A4 paper and you have no alternative but to bring it, please be aware that there are a limited number of lockers available outside the venue. You can find these lockers at the Lockerpoint of ArenAPoort P5 & above the Ziggo Dome Entrance.
This event is cashless!
This is a cashless venue. You can only pay with PIN at the event. If you did bring cash, you can exchange it for cash cards near the entrance. With these cash cards, you can then make a card payment at the bar to pay for your food and drinks.
This means you can only pay by credit or with a debit card at Verknipt ArenA. Please make sure to bring your bank card! Cash will not be accepted & there are NO cash top up points.
Until what time can I enter the event?Ā
The event will take place on the 19th of July from 22:00 till 07:00. The doors are open until 05:00. If you arrive later, we are permitted to refuse entry. Please be on time!Ā
There are EARLY ACCESS ticket holders can enter 1,5 hour earlier!
There will be a variety of food and drinks available at the event. We always aim toĀ include vega(n), gluten free and dairy free options!
Can I bring lollipops and chewing gum to the event?
Chewing gum isnāt allowed at our indoor events, because it damages the venue. Please, respect the venue where the event is held! If you want to bring something that provides fresh breath, you may bring a sealed pack of breath mints to the event. Dextro is also allowed.Ā
You are not allowed to bring food & beverages to the events of Verknipt. Which means lollipops are not allowed either. But, we will make sure that lollipops can be purchased at the events.Ā
There is a limited amount of Verknipt ArenA merchandise items available at the Merch stand!
Verknipt Records releases a special album dedicated to worldās biggest hard techno rave on the 20th of July in the Johan Cruijff Arena.
The Verknipt ArenA album showcases both established names and rising stars, seamlessly blending their talents to create a classic hard techno album. This initiative by Verknipt aims to integrate these artists into the album and events, catering to the vibrant community of Hard Techno enthusiasts.
All Verknipt events are 18+. Make sure to bring your ID!
Please be aware that the ID check will be AFTER the ticket scan during the Verknipt ArenA show.
Protect your ears during the festival with Alpine hearing protection!
During a festival, going out or attending a concert, you run a high risk of permanent hearing damage. With the Alpine filter earplugs, you can continue to enjoy the music, but protect yourself from an annoying ringing in your ears. With the earplugs, you can still hear the music and conversations super well while protecting your hearing. Come to the Alpine stand at the event and buy Alpine earplugs.

Verknipt maintains a zero tolerance policy on drugs. It is forbidden to use, trade or posses any drugs at the event. When the organization spots or confirms any infringements, the offender can be handed over to the police. When the delinquent is being caught he/she will be transferred over to the police. Before entering the event you will be able to deposit drugs in the designated drug bins without being charged with any consequences.Ā
During the event, all lost & found items are collected at the merchandise stand. You can always check there if anything has been found!
All items that are not collected will be taken to our office in the week after the event. You can email us at [email protected] to check if your lost items are there. The items can then be collected from our office. Any loss of your items on an event is your own responsibility.
If we havenāt found your items, you can also check with the Johan Cruijff ArenA just to be sure!
There are NO smoking area’s at this venue. This is a SMOKE FREEĀ venue.
It’s not allowed to smoke in the Johan Cruijff ArenA and there aren’t any areas where smoking is allowed. Vaping is also prohibited. If you want to smoke, please do this before entering the festival and after you’ve left.Ā

The Johan Cruijff ArenA does not work with a recycle coin or a charge while buying your first drink. They simply ask you to recycle your cup by using the correct bins. Easy! Right?
Please watch out for pickpockets. Be careful if you’re wearing fancy jewelry or have an expensive smartphone. If your phone goes missing, go to the info desk right away and let us know.Ā

The location is reachable by taxi or uber. Follow the signs and directions from traffic controllers to the designated Kiss & Ride location.
If you are planning to travel to the event locations by bike, you can navigate your way to Johan Cruijff Boulevard 240, 1101 DJ Amsterdam. You can park your bicycle in the bike parking area of the ArenA Boulevard.

I’ve already arranged my own bus travel and would like to know where the parking is?
Touringcars are not allowed to be parked around Johan Cruijf ArenA. The entire area is a no-stopping zone which will be enforced.
Buses hired privately to bring and collect groups of visitors to the event have the option of parking at P-Bus. It is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from P-Bus to the Johan Cruijf ArenA.

We work in tiers. Ticket buyers that get their ticket early have more advantage regarding buying a ticket with a discount. The later you will buy your ticket, the more expensive it will be.

There will be a special opening the night from 21:00 to 22:00! All ticket holders with Early Access can enter 1,5 hour earlier at Verknipt ArenA to experience this memorable performance, for them the doors will open from 20:30. Come on time to enjoy the opening set!
All ticket prices mentioned above exclude the entertainment tax of ā¬1.50 and the service costs for the ticketing provider.
The entertainment tax is a tax that has to paid to the City of Amsterdam since 2020 for every visitor of entertainment on water, on land (round trips) and city tours (with or without vehicle). This is mandatory for this particular event location.
What are āsealed ticketsā and why canāt I download the tickets?
Recently Verknipt switched to a new kind of tickets: sealed tickets. These tickets can only be viewed and downloaded shortly before the event. When itās time to download your tickets, you will get a notification by email from the ticket provider. If youāve purchased tickets for a group of people, youāll be able to assign the tickets or send them to your friends once they are available for download.
Why does Verknipt have āsealed ticketsā?
Verknipt uses these sealed tickets because the ticket sale will be fairer. By using these tickets, it makes it impossible for scammers to resell their tickets through unofficial third parties/secondary markets.Ā

If the event canāt take place due to Covid-19, you can request a refund.Ā
