VERKNIPT is an event organization focusing on hard dance music. We’re hosting multiple national & international events throughout the year, indoor and outdoor, booking well-known artists and introducing our visitors to new ones.

Verknipt was founded in 2012, but within a short time Verknipt has become a well-known name in the Netherlands. We are known for our amazing laser shows and the good vibe among the ravers! In recent years Verknipt has made its mark throughout the world. With many events such as Verknipt ADE, Verknipt Festival, Verknipt anniversaries, the NYE editions, the Verknipt international editions, and since 2024 also our very own record label ‘Verknipt Records’, we have captured the hearts of many hard music fans. Our vision is: “Nothing is mandatory, everything is possible”.

Who do we look for?  

• You are available from May/June 2025 until August/September 2025;
• You are available 5 days per week for a working internship;
• You are detail oriented, punctual, creative and stress-resistant;
• You speak, write and communicate fluently Dutch and English; 
• You are flexible and don’t have the traditional 9 to 5 mentality;
• You are an MBO/HBO student in the direction of Marketing, Creative Business, Graphic Design or Media Design,.
• You are familiar with the Adobe programs, such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and video editing programs, such as: Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro;
• You are a proactive person, are solution-oriented and come up with new concepts easily; 
• You are very passionate about creating design concepts and events/festivals;
• You have a strong creative vision, able to research trends, gather inspiration, and translate it into fresh new designs.

What will you do?

As a Design & Advertising Intern, you will work closely with our graphic designers and digital marketeer, focusing on the creative side of advertising and branding.

Design Responsibilities

• Assist in the visual branding of Verknipt events and marketing campaigns.
• Convert lead designer’s artwork into different promotional materials (e.g., adding text to event artworks like line-ups, timetables, and banners).
• Create social media graphics, event ads, and festival visuals for promotions.
• Brainstorm and develop new design concepts..
• Incorporate feedback from managers and partners on text, colors, and layout.
• Help manage and organize design files for future use.
• Be available during major events to make last-minute design adjustments if needed.

Creative Advertising Responsibilities

• Work alongside the digital marketeer to design advertisement creatives for online campaigns (e.g., social media ads, festival promos, ticketing campaigns).
• Research trends in digital advertising & festival branding for inspiration.
• Translate marketing ideas into engaging visuals that match Verknipt’s bold style.
• Assist in A/B testing designs (helping determine what works visually for ads).
• Improve email marketing visuals and other promotional materials.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions on creative strategies for events.
