Founded in 2012 at the heart of the Netherlands, Verknipt emerged as a bold and ambitious force in the hard dance scene. From the outset, the brand’s mission was clear: to push boundaries, embrace evolving sounds, and redefine the genre. As the hard dance landscape transformed, so did Verknipt, rapidly growing from an underground movement into one of the genre’s most influential names.
The journey was paved with unforgettable club shows across the Netherlands, each event building a dedicated fanbase and setting the stage for what would become a global phenomenon. In 2015, Verknipt took its first major leap by launching Verknipt Festival, a groundbreaking event that quickly became synonymous with innovation, energy, and the cutting edge of dance. This was just the beginning.
By 2024, Verknipt had solidified its position as a global leader in the hard dance movement and expanding its reach far beyond the Netherlands. With over 20 events across 11 countries in 2025, Verknipt continues to fuel its mission of bringing its signature energy to fans worldwide.
As Marketeer & Social Media Specialist, you’ll lead the strategy, own the content calendar, and shape our voice across TikTok, Instagram, email, and more.
What you’ll do:
- Help shape our voice across all social platforms.
- Come up with new ways to promote Verknipt events on social media.
- Manage the content calendar & schedule posts.
- Write engaging copy for posts, mailings, and campaign materials.
- Request and check artworks/video edits from our design team.
- Creating and sending out e-mail campaigns to the correct target audiences.
- Updating the website via WordPress: media, copy & launching events online.
- Write content briefings for showdays (the phone content team).
- Help with pre-event marketing and production tasks.
- Receive, organize, and maintain media assets in our shared drive.
- Monitor the engagement on our social platforms, including reviewing and responding to comments or messages.
- Analyze results, test new ideas, and continuously improve.
- Brainstorm and create content for advertisements and campaigns.
- Being present during content shoot days, and making all necessary preparations for this.
- Supervise and support your own intern.
- (Optional) Create (phone) content during our events.
- Contribute actively to the development of our new digital team structure.
- Be the digital voice of one of the most energetic brands in the scene.
Who you are:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing (agency or in-house).
- Punctual and good eye for detail.
- A creative thinker with a strong eye for visuals, copy, and storytelling.
- Strong copywriting skills (social posts, email campaigns, community updates).
- Always on top of trends, especially TikTok, but confident enough to set your own ideas in place.
- Organized, proactive, and deadline-driven.
- Fluent in Dutch & English (written + spoken).
- Passionate about events, music, and unforgettable community moments.
- Available to work on-site in Abcoude for 2 to 5 days per week. (beneficial if you live around Amsterdam)
