VERKNIPT is an event organization focusing on (hard) techno, industrial techno and other rave music. We’re hosting multiple national & international events throughout the year, indoor and outdoor, booking well-known artists and introducing our visitors to new ones. 

Verknipt was founded in 2012, but within a short time Verknipt has become a well-known name in the Netherlands. We are known for our amazing laser shows and the good vibe among the ravers! In recent years Verknipt has made its mark throughout the World. With many events such as Verknipt ADE, Verknipt Festival, Verknipt anniversaries, the NYE editions, the Verknipt international editions, and since 2024 also our very own hard techno record label ‘Verknipt Records’, we have captured the hearts of many techno fans. Our vision is: “Nothing is mandatory, everything is possible”.

Who do we look for?

•⁠ ⁠You are available from January/February 2025 to June/July 2025;
•⁠ ⁠You are available 4-5 days per week for a working internship or a graduation internship (You can read more information on doing your graduation internship with us at the bottom of this page)
•⁠ ⁠You speak, write and communicate fluently both Dutch and English;
•⁠ ⁠You are flexible and don’t have the traditional 9 to 5 mentality;
•⁠ ⁠You can work independently on tasks but also can work well in a team;
•⁠ ⁠You are an HBO/WO student in the direction of Leisure/Hospitality & Event Management;
•⁠ ⁠You are an energetic and social person with confident communication skills;
•⁠ ⁠You are a proactive person, are solution-oriented and come up with new concepts easily;
•⁠ You are very passionate about techno music and events/festivals;
•⁠ You are socially proactive and are not afraid to make phone calls or speak/discuss with people you don’t know yet;
•⁠ You can stay calm in stressful situations;
•⁠ You work accurately and very precise;
•⁠ Preference for someone with a category B driver’s license.

When you become a project management intern at Verknipt you will:

•⁠ ⁠Maintaining contact with various suppliers for our shows, such as;
•⁠ ⁠Ensuring proper accreditation and briefing for these suppliers;
•⁠ ⁠Processing contracts and invoices;
•⁠ ⁠Requesting and managing crew scheduling;
•⁠ Handling accreditation for crew, guests, etc.;
•⁠ ⁠Arranging hotels and flights for our crew for international shows;
•⁠ ⁠Gathering and organizing volunteers for our events;
•⁠Overseeing the management of these volunteers during the shows;
•⁠ ⁠Supporting the production process before, during, and after our events;
•⁠ ⁠Working at our events as a project assistant or within our artist handling team as an (artist) runner, stage manager, at the artist check-in/accreditation desk, or in other artist handling/event roles.

Other tasks that your workday will include:

•⁠ ⁠Assisting with organizing food trucks at our events and managing food logistics;
•⁠ ⁠Learning the behind-the-scenes aspects of our events, with the opportunity to experience the entire event organization process from A to Z;
•⁠ ⁠Contributing to the creative process, shaping the look, feel, and experience of our events;
•⁠ ⁠Managing tickets, including ticket distribution, refunds, and related tasks;
•⁠ ⁠Not being a typical intern. You will be fully involved in the organization, so no coffee making for others;
•⁠ ⁠Working in a team with like-minded young people!

This is an internship where you will work at our office for 4-5 days a week. We don’t accept on-demand interns.

Graduation internship:

We are also looking for an enthusiastic and driven graduation intern to support us in performing important research. If you become a graduation intern at Verknipt, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic environment and work on research that directly contributes to the growth of Verknipt! The subject of the research is by mutual agreement.
