The event will take place on 31 December from 19:30 – 08:00. The doors will open at 19:30 and the music will start playing at 20:00.
The doors are open until 03:00. If you arrive later, we are permitted to refuse entry. Please be on time!
All Verknipt events are 18+. Make sure to bring your ID!
We use cash cards at Verknipt NYE Eindhoven for easy payments of drinks, food and merchandise.
IMPORTANT
Take a photo of your cash card. Without a photo, we cannot recover your balance if it’s lost.
1. Getting your cash card
You’ll receive a cash card at the entrance when your ticket is scanned.
This card replaces tokens and can only be used during this event. Remaining credit cannot be refunded.
2. Topping up
Add credit by scanning the QR code on the back of the card or visit any top-up station around the venue.
Note: The first top-up has a €2 fee.
3. Using your cash card
Pay at bars, food stands and merchandise stalls by tapping your card at the payment terminals.
4. Lost or didn’t get a card?
Go to a service desk to buy a new one.
Once the ticket-sale has started, you can buy your locker tickets online via www.verknipt.org/tickets. One day before the event you will receive an email from the locker company with your lockernumber + pincode. There will also be plenty of lockers available at Klokgebouw.
There will be a wide variety of food and drinks available at the event. We’ve included vega(n), gluten free and dairy free options!
Can I bring lollipops and chewing gum to the event?
Chewing gum isn’t allowed at our indoor events, because it damages the venue. Please, respect the venue where the event is held! If you want to bring something that provides fresh breath, you may bring a sealed pack of breath mints to the event. Dextro is also allowed.
You are not allowed to bring food & beverages to the events of Verknipt. Which means lollipops are not allowed either. But, we will make sure that lollipops can be purchased at the events.

Deposit recycle system
We work with a deposit system on all cups during this event. At the entrance, our visitors receive a free recycle token which they can use at the bar when ordering drinks. All empty cups can be returned to the bar for a new drink or recycle token. By doing this, we make sure that all materials are collected and sorted in the right container. After the event, each material is recycled. This way of recycling is very easy, with much love for nature and a perfect way to reduce our waste!
How does it work?
1. When you buy your first drink, you will have to pay 0.5 token extra for a hard cup.
2. With each drink you order, you hand in your recycle token or an empty cup.
3. Lost your recycle token and/or your cup? Then you have to pay 0.5 regular token again. Broken cups are not accepted.
4. At the end of the festival, our team will be ready to recollect all used hard cups! You can hand the empty cups over to them, so that the cups can remain intact and be recycled.
The house rules apply to each of our events. Please read these carefully. It contains, for example, what is forbidden to bring inside, such as balaclavas, steel body chains & more!
During the event, all lost & found items are collected at the merchandise stand. You can always check there if anything has been found!
All items that are not collected will be taken to our office in the week after the event. You can email us at [email protected] to check if your lost items are there. The items can then be collected from our office. Any loss of your items on an event is your own responsibility.

Strijp-S has various parking facilities, this is the neighborhood where the Klokgebouw is located. On this map you can see which these are and where the entrances are. The parking rates can be found via this link.

Please keep in mind that during NYE (31 December) most public transport companies stop from 20.00 – 08.00. For this reason, our event on 31 December will also start at those times.
By train
Get off at Eindhoven Strijp-S station. This is within a few minutes walking distance from the Klokgebouw.
If you get off at Central Station in the city, you can walk to Strijp-S within 15-20 minutes.
By bus
Strijp-S is easily accessible by bus from Eindhoven Central Station.
Take line 401, 402 or 403 and get off at the Strijp-S stop.
Do you live near the Klokgebouw yourself? Then leave the car at home and get on your bike! Strijp-S is easily accessible by bicycle and has wide, illuminated cycle paths. There is plenty of space to park your bicycle in front of the Klokgebouw and the adjacent Ketelhuisplein. There is no standard guarded bicycle shed.
The location is reachable by taxi or uber.
In case you are travelling by touring car, please keep in mind that it is mandatory for the touring car organization to apply online beforehand. If you do not register the touring car, we must unfortunately refuse access. Sign up form will go online later this year.

Touring cars can drop off & pick up visitors at the location: Achtseweg Zuid. Here the touring cars can also be parked. Visitors can cross the railway bridge to the other side. There will be signs showing the way to the entrance.

Where can I buy tickets?
You can now purchase entrance tickets for the event here. Weeztix is our official ticket platform. After buying your tickets, you will receive a confirmation email from Weeztix with your order.
What are the differences between the entrance tickets?
There is no difference between the entrance tickets. We work in tiers. Early ticket buyers have more advantage regarding buying a ticket with a discount. The later you will buy your ticket, the more expensive it will be.

Can I cancel my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable. It is not possible to cancel your tickets.
The event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, what happens now?
If the event gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the ticket buyers and inform them on the follow-up steps, please wait patiently for this.
Luckily, this almost never happens.
What are ‘sealed tickets’ and why can’t I download the tickets?
Verknipt switched to a new and safer kind of tickets: sealed tickets. These tickets can only be viewed and downloaded shortly before the event. When it’s time to download your tickets, you will get a notification by email from Eventix (our ticket provider). If you’ve purchased tickets for a group of people, you’ll be able to assign the tickets or send them to your friends once they are available for download.
Why does Verknipt have ‘sealed tickets’?
Verknipt uses these sealed tickets because the ticket sale will be fairer. By using these tickets, it makes it impossible for scammers to resell their tickets through unofficial third parties/secondary markets.

As you can read above, we only work with sealed tickets. This means that our tickets are only sent out shortly before the event (usually one day before), which prevents a lot of scammers. But still it sometimes happens that one of our visitors gets scammed, because the tickets for our events are so wanted. We find this very inconvenient and we would like to warn you for this!
Ways people unfortunately still get scammed:
– A PDF ticket is being sold. That’s not even possible, because our tickets are sealed. The PDF or it’s barcode are probably fake.
– A “private” sale is being done, where you have to pay extra before you can see your ticket. But you never receive the ticket, or they send you a fake one.
– The ticket buying page of the resale platform is counterfeited, causing you to make a payment on a website that is not secure (does not exist), or a payment link that is not linked to that website. You never receive the ticket, or they send you a fake one.
Watch out, and beat the scammers!
