Join the Verknipt team as an Event Project Management & Artist Operations intern!

VERKNIPT is an event organization focusing on hard dance music. We’re hosting multiple national & international events throughout the year, indoor and outdoor, booking well-known artists and introducing our visitors to new ones.

Verknipt was founded in 2012, but within a short time Verknipt has become a well-known name in the Netherlands. We are known for our amazing laser shows and the good vibe among the ravers! In recent years Verknipt has made its mark throughout the world. With many events such as Verknipt ADE, Verknipt Festival, Verknipt anniversaries, NYE editions, international editions, and since 2024 also our very own record label ‘Verknipt Records’, we have captured the hearts of many hard music fans.

Who do we look for?  

  • ⁠You are available from September 2026 until February 2027, 4–5 days per week
  • You speak, write, and communicate fluently in both Dutch and English
  • ⁠You are an HBO/WO student in the direction of Leisure/Hospitality & Event Management, Communications or similar
  • You have a strong interest in project management and event production
  • You are structured, organized, and detail-oriented
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and take ownership of your tasks
  • ⁠You remain calm under pressure and can handle stressful situations effectively
  • You have strong communication skills and are comfortable working with different stakeholders
  • You can work independently but also thrive in a team environment
  • You are flexible and do not adhere to a traditional 9-to-5 mentality
  • ⁠You are socially proactive and not afraid to approach or contact new people
  • You are energetic, creative, and entrepreneurial
  • You have an affinity with music, events, and festival culture

 

Your tasks will include:

We are looking for interns who want to play an active role in the project management and execution of our events, combining event production with artist operations.

The tasks will be divided based on your interests and strengths, with a strong focus on developing your project management skills.

Supporting the full project lifecycle of events: from planning and preparation to execution and evaluation:

  • Coordinating with suppliers and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, briefing, and delivery
  • Assisting in creating and managing production schedules, timelines, and project overviews
  • ⁠Coordinating crew schedules, travel, and accommodations for international shows
  • Acting as a liaison between internal teams, artists, suppliers, and volunteers
  • ⁠Supporting and supervising volunteers and crew on-site and working as a project assistant
  • Supporting build-up and breakdown phases of events
  • Managing food logistics, including sourcing food trucks and coordinating on-site operations
  • Assisting with ticketing and data processing
  • Supporting inventory and merchandise operations, including logistics and stock management
  • Identifying inefficiencies and contributing to improving workflows and internal processes
  • Contributing creatively to the look, feel, and overall experience of our events
  • Managing accreditation processes for crew, artists, and guests
 
Supporting artist handling & advancing, including:
 
  • Processing contracts
  • ⁠Ordering and preparing riders
  • Creating artist itineraries and briefings
  • Working at events in operational roles such as artist runner, stage manager, or accreditation/artist check-in
  • Managing guestlists
